Rolling Back To 2014

2014 was one heck of a year! ..and WARNING: ONE HECK OF A VERY LONG POST.
Haha, okay here it goes (clears throat!) ...

Challenges, Opportunities, Problems, Blessings, they were all there, mixin' up to become a better person I am right now. Wow! A lot really happened last year, and I could have been more thankful to Him for the roller-coaster experiences. It was all worth it! If you're gonna ask me what I've learned from everything? It's "LIVING LIFE LOUD!" - synonymous to that common phrase we all want to shout, YOLO! Many things can happen in a day, people change, the world continues to evolve, I mean, if you don't do something great and fun TODAY, you are missing A LOT for the rest of your life. Of course, everything must be done responsibly. This year, I've been thinking a lot and planning hard on what to do and achieve for me to be more mature and independent enough to face the wild world out there. For the mean time, let's roll back to my 2014 moments! Shall we?

I've been tagged by Mommy Janine from www.itsjaninella.com to this "The Grateful Blogger Tag" where I have to write 10 things I am grateful for and also tag 10 bloggers to do the same. Well, thanks a lot mommy (hoping to meet you and other bloggers out there from the Queen City of the South #Cebu)! In my own version, I'll be mentioning some cherished moments I encountered last year and some awesome folks I'll continue to love even more. Ready? In 3, 2, 1 ..

No matter what happen, my brothers and sisters, cousins and relatives and especially to my ever-dynamic mom, they are the ones that keep me running and continue to endeavor life. They are my inspiration, my life, beloved people I can never replace.

Gosh! These guys are the COOLEST peers a person can ever have. They are CRAZY, fun to be with and most especially they all have a big part in my life. The moments we've shared were priceless and I can always smile every time I think of those wacky experiences we've had. To you guys: blockmates, schoolmates, PPG, QUD, BFam, EGSIS, GIRLFRIENDS, EC loves, bebs, I love y'all to the moon and back. You know you always have a place in my heart.

Dancing has always been in me. So I grabbed the chance to be a part of our school's dance company, the CNU PDC/Pwersayaw Performing Arts. I really had a great time dancin' with these guys, (I was able to perform a contemporary routine too, yaaaay!) and also had a blast with them to different bookings. I am so thankful most especially to our manager/choreographer/mentor for not just teaching us but also exposing us to different shows (and raketsss haha) in and out of school. Breaking bones with them? Naah, the fun and laughter could cover up (trust me!).

One good thing about 2014, was posting only 12 display photos (1 each month) to my social media accounts! What month is your favorite?

The most epic GIVEAWAY that I actually won was probably from my super-idol blogger Kryz Uy of  kryzuy.com. I also met her for the very first time last year in the Cut and Style event with Camille Co. So, this GAP SHOPPING EXPERIENCE, was a dream come true to me. I was able to shop and talk to her a little. I even asked her where she lives here in Cebu! (gosssssssh, I was so stupid!). Yeah, it was really a moment to remember!

Me and Jou Anne (beb, bestie, instaphotographer) won VIP passes to this event and we were able to grab some selfie shots with our fave bloggers for the very first time. Yes, I can't stop giggling and smiling that day (more here).

I am a certified INSTAGRAMMER! Yep, I post photo blogs every day to my account and was able to meet a lot of new people over the social media. I got so inspired in posting quality photos/videos to my feed from browsing each of their shared posts (yeah, a double-tapper here too!)

To LookBook and also to Chictopia. These fashion communities made an extension to my blog, STYLES OF BILZY for reaching out fellow fashionistas all over the world and also grabbing inspirations from different stylish individuals who never fail to exude unique fashion sense in them.

Whew! 'twas a long one. There you have it folks, my 2014 memoirs! I can't imagine how time flies swiftly fast and how life gives us so much in that span. But I am so grateful for all of that and I hope you too are happy for every thing that He has done to us. 2015 will surely be a colorful year, yeah claiming it now!

I'm not tagging 10 bloggers, (mga sikat man akong ganahan, di nya ko tagdun, hahaha)
and one more thing, STYLES OF BILZY will have its 2015 version soon. Yep, I can't spread the details now but here's a sneak peek. Watch for it and I am hoping for more readers to this lil' space of mine. Enjoy.

STYLES OF BILZY v2015 - "WS" - To be released this late January.
